Elders & Deacons

The Lord Jesus has established two offices in His church – the office of elder, and the office of deacon. See I Timothy 3:1-13 for the Apostle Paul’s description of the qualifications necessary for men who serve in these capacities. We thank God for the men the Lord has given to Providence Baptist Church to serve as elders and deacons and we commit ourselves to pray for them so that their “sufficiency” might indeed be of God (II Corinthians 3:5,6).

    Pastor

    Born and raised in South Africa, Carl Muller came to faith in Christ in his late teens and prepared for the Christian ministry at Tyndale Bible College and Seminary. He has pastored churches in Cambridge, Kingston and Burlington, Ontario and presently serves as pastor at Providence Baptist Church in Burlington. He is married to Heather and has four children and five grandchildren.
